Important Notice

Parking Charges start from Friday 1st January!! please remember to add car registration number to the system on arrival of appointments!!!

Dear Members of the Community,

Penrhyn Bay Medical Centre will be introducing parking changes from January. The car park is owned by the Medical Centre and has been providing free public parking for many years to support local businesses. This decision has been made to ensure that patients attending the surgery can reliably access parking spaces. The change follows persistent challenges, including long-term parkingmisuse of the car parkovernight parking, and incidents of anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping all of which have significantly reduced availability and affected the safety and proper use of the facility.

Following our recent meeting with representatives of the local business community and local councillors, we would like to extend our sincere thanks for the constructive discussions held regarding the ongoing parking pressures at Penrhyn Bay Surgery.

We would like to reassure the community that parking for patients attending appointments will remain free of charge. The car park will remain available for public use 24/7 but there will be a charging system put in place.

We are grateful for the support, understanding, and cooperation shown by the community, local businesses, and councillors. Your engagement has been essential in reaching a fair and community-focused solution.

Further details regarding the implementation of the new parking system will be shared in due course.

Thank you once again for your continued support.

 Yours faithfully,

Penrhyn Bay Medical Centre
